HOW TO COOK THE FILIPINO DISH SINIGANG?


Prepare all the ingredients:

8 cups of water
2 medium-sized red onions, quartered
4 medium-sized tomatoes, quartered
1-kilo pork, cubed
1 pack (44 grams) knorr sinigang sa sampaloc mix with gabi
5 pcs of string beans (sitaw)
5 pcs of ladies' fingers (okra)
1 pcs of eggplant (talong)
Water spinach (kangkong)
Fish sauce (bagoong isda)
Radish (labanos)
Green chili
Taro (Gabi)


Procedure:


  • Cut all the ingredients, it depends on you how big or small.
  • Pour the pork and water into a pot and wait for it to boil.
  • Pour the red onion, tomatoes, and fish sauce.
  • Add the taro and wait for it to boil.
  • Add the string beans and radish and again wait for it to boil.
  • Add the okra, eggplant, finger chili, and kangkong stalks.
















  • Add the tamarind powder mix. 
  • And lastly, add the kangkong leaves and for it to boil and it, and is ready to serve!!

Our family likes sinigang especially in the rainy season because it's nice to sip 
hot soup in a rainy season.
